There has been a restaurant at this superb venue for over thirty years. From its early days as tea rooms, it has grown to become what is now Peruga at Woodheys. We would like you to feel that this is your home away from home, your local restaurant complete with a bar and lounge for you to enjoy great food, a casual drink or coffee with friends and family.

Peruga at Woodheys has taken the previously formal and tired venue and created a beautiful modern, relaxing, and friendly place, with superb food and great service.

Our focus remains on sourcing the best quality, local, fresh produce. We make absolutely everything on the premises from fresh ingredients, (including the wonderfully indulgent ice cream!). Balancing flavours on the plate, our food is tasty, honest, and stylish, with its origins firmly in both the British and European cuisines.

We strive at all times to give great food and value, from Aberdeen Angus Beef to lobster fricasse. Try our old favourites, like bread and butter pudding, beer battered fish with homemade chips and mushy peas or bangers & mash through the week, and traditional roast beef with yorkshire pudding, duck fat roast potatoes, veggies and gravy on a Sunday. You choose what’s right for you at the right time....

The views over the Etherow Valley Country Park are breathtaking and present an ever changing landscape of the beautiful Cheshire countr yside. In the evening the panoramic twinkle of lights in the distance help create the perfect setting to eat, relax and enjoy.
